Exclusive Art & Wine Hop Adventure

The event offers a delightful tour along Highway 41 in the heart of Oakhurst, CA, the gateway to Yosemite National Park aboard a charming trolley. Participants are taken to various art galleries and pop-up locations, where several wineries offer tastings and have bottles available for purchase. You may also drive yourself using the Art Hop Map.

The duration may vary based on the route and stops. The trolley typically completes a loop about every 35-40 minutes, requiring a few hours or you may choose to visit only those that interest you. 

We suggest downloading the trolley app HERE for its precise location updates.

You can either hop on the trolley or explore independently using the provided map at no cost. Additionally, wine tasting is available for $20, which covers the cost of your keepsake art hop glass and wristband for tastings. These can be obtained at Yosemite Wine Tails, Bodys by Boyd or Elderberry House. You may also keep your glass and get a new wristband monthly for tastings for only $10.

You may pre-purchase your Art & Wine Hop at Eventbrite.com then just pick up your glass and wristband at Yosemite Wine Tails. Doors open at 4pm. ($3 fee applies)

If driving yourself you should be able to see all venues. If taking the trolley it loops about every 35-40 minutes so you'll probably only get to 4 or 5 of the stops so plan accordingly. Plan to drive using the map if you want to see all of them or come the following month to explore more.

Each month the wineries will be new and/or rotate to different venues to offer a variety each month. Bottles will also be available for purchase at Yosemite Wine Tails for 10% off if you find something delicious you want to take home as a memento of your journey.

No tickets or reservations are needed. You may start anywhere along the route you’d like if not participating in the wine tasting. If taking the Trolley, we recommend beginning at the Visitor Center which will take you to Yosemite Wine Tails to purchase your glass.

We recommend parking at the Visitors Bureau on Hwy by 5pm if taking the Trolley.  

Cheater tip:  Start at Yosemite Wine Tails to grab your tasting glass at 4:30pm then catch the trolley at 5pm. If you're driving and not wine tasting, no worries—feel free to start wherever you like! 

Wine glasses are only available at 3 locations - Yosemite Wine Tails, Bodys by Boyd and Elderberry House. You may also bring your glass back each month to these location to purchase your wristband for only $10.

The trolley is not wheelchair accessible but most galleries are. Please contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The event is designed with adults in mind for wine tasting, yet it's also a family-friendly occasion. We welcome well-behaved children to join the trolley ride and discover local art. Please refrain from drinking and driving, especially with your children.

We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, as you may need to walk short distances to venues. Additionally, please dress appropriately for the weather, especially since several venues are outdoors during the summer months. If you are visiting Elderberry House, we request that you dress accordingly to match its upscale atmosphere.

It is customary to tip if you have a good experience and it really makes their day but it is not required.

Be sure to use the app to track the trolley and watch the time. If you miss it, it will come in another 35-40 minutes. Please plan accordingly as it stops at 8pm.
